In 1999, you tried to have a free energy conference. What happened? >> Oh my goodness. Well, it turns out I was at the Patent Office. I was employed as a patent examiner, and I essentially was invited by a friend of mine at the State Department, US State Department Open Forum. >> Right. >> And it was great because I actually titled it conference on free energy. And thought, oh, this is a great chance to finally bring it out. It's been, you know, decades, actually two decades since I pursued free energy. I thought the time was right. Turns out I was totally wrong. >> You were right about the timing. They thought you were wrong, right? >> Exactly. >> What did they do? >> Oh my goodness. Well, first of all, the American Physical Society pounced on me every week by calling it a cold fusion conference. I only had one cold fusion speaker out of >> Now, this is crazy. This is Tom Valone. Chat. This is the editor of Faster Than Light. Tom Valone, right there. And he's telling the story of what happened at the Patent Office. Now, how do I have this? Because I'm staring at a flash drive on my computer right now that has all of Tom Valone's life work and media appearances on it, and I'm very good at what I do, chat. So, I was watching this. And this part stuck out to me. I went, wow. This is how you lost your job at the Patent Office as an examiner? Because you were realizing that free energy was real, and you just wanted to do a conference? Like, you got invited to do a conference. You got invited to do one of the first free energy conferences. And you would say, well, what's the big deal with that? Like, anybody can do whatever the hell they want to do. Why would anybody even protest this? So, it turns out the Dr. Zimmerman who was the only physicist at the State Department became my nemesis along with Dr. Park who was from the University of Maryland the public relations department. >> What? Did you just hear whose name he just said? He said Dr. Peter Zimmerman at the State Department and Dr. Robert Park at University of Maryland became his nemesis. I heard this and holy [ __ ] chat. Kill Bill was ready to go. Oh my god [crying] chat. Chat, I am I am praying to God that somebody wants to be Robert Park's champion or Peter Zimmerman's champion. Anybody out there? Isn't there any debunker that wants to honor their their respected friend and colleague? I'm calling your buddies dog [ __ ] Peter Zimmerman's a piece of dog [ __ ] that I wouldn't even I would avoid stepping on. I'd say honey get away from me this stinks like [ __ ] and it's useless. Robert Park? He's lower than that. Robert Park's down in hell right now being tortured where he belongs for the rest of eternity for being a useless piece of garbage. So, it turns out the Dr. Zimmerman, who was the only physicist at the State Department, became my nemesis along with Dr. Park, who was from the University of Maryland, the public relations department. And the two of them were just too much for the Patent Office, the Department of Commerce, and the Department of Energy. So, it literally then became a media frenzy with the Nature magazine article, Science magazine article, APS News, Village Voice. They all basically told my story of, you know, this patent examiner is trying to do something, but it's totally unscientific and quote pseudoscience. So, I got fired from the Patent Office. >> From that? >> From misrepresentation and conflict of interest. >> [laughter] >> It was laughable at at the time now, but back then it was traumatic. >> Bro, it's not laughable. My dude's laughing out here. Traumatic at the time. They destroyed your life because you wanted to do a free energy conference. They misrepresented everything about it. They made it You had credentialed PhD engineers that were presenters. I've got the videos. I've got all of the all the free energy conference videos on my computer right now. Chat. Um that got killed. I'm struggling with the names. Okay, so we're not going to go over this right now, but you get the point. So, Tom Valone. One more thing I want to go over on this. I asked him a message or I sent him email and I asked about this cuz I wanted to make sure that I was understanding the context of this. I can't understand how he could have been so chill about this. And I'm like, so, you know, what's the deal here? Who do you you know, and I didn't even ask that much. He's happy to talk about this. It seems like he was famous over this from like 20 years ago. And he sends me back a link. I'll post a link in the chat right now for you guys so you know, you can you can check out yourself. In fact, I it's so long I didn't have time guys. I I I don't have time for everything in this world. I wish I did. Here it is. There's the link. Pretty easy link. He sends me a link to this and he says, somebody dug deep through the arbiter's ruling on this. And if you read through the ruling, it's even more suspicious, in my opinion, than it was first made out to be and even more personal. It's I'm just going to read this here. It says, "It is simple as as that. The federal government's budget pie for research and development areas of theoretical physics and chemistry is limited and by and large only traditional physicists represent by organizations like APS and its counterparts for conventional chemists have been invited to set up on that pie. The last thing they want is any new guests invited to table." He says, "March 1st, 1999, Corazon Foley, the State Department director of the open forum sent a final memorandum of understanding with the grievance detail the grievance is, I believe, Tom Valone with the details of the program and security procedures for the attendees. By that date the grievance had also lined up a co-sponsor to underwrite some of the costs. So, basically they were paying for the meals or the drinks. Then the troubles began. The nature of the C O F E, the conference on free energy, and the State Department sponsorship came to the notice of Dr. Peter Zimmerman, a high-ranking science member of the State Department's Arms Control Agency. So, a guy that's in the State Department's Arms and Control Agency gets with there's going to be a free energy conference and suddenly he makes it his life's mission to make sure it doesn't happen. Now, right off the bat, is that not weird? Why is there a guy who is made it his life's mission to make sure there's no conference occurs. And then he says, "Who adamantly opposes as unworkable any technology that claims it produced an energy output in excess of the energy input and had a close colleague of Dr. Robert Park." Boom. So, now we're realizing it wasn't just one person. Robert Park wasn't just a guy. He was being directed by his buddy, Peter Zimmerman. These guys were literally on the government's payroll actively suppressing, ruining people's lives, getting them fired from their jobs just for being interested in free energy. Dr. Zimmerman protested the Open Forum's invitation to the grievance and it's allowing him to put together a cast of renowned pseudo scientists, quote unquote, to appear under the banner of the Department of State to promote junk science. Wow. Wow. This is literally the clergy burning Galileo at the stake right here. This is literally just every anti-science fault being repeated throughout history once again.
