What Steven Greer Actually Said About the MH370 Videos

The headline was "Greer validated the videos." His real words are more careful, and more interesting: an anonymous senior-NSA scientist calling the orbs a man-made Einstein-Rosen bridge, from a source that converges with the physics.

On March 18, 2025, Ashton Forbes woke up to a clip he'd been waiting years to see. Steven Greer, founder of the Disclosure Project, had finally been asked directly about the MH370 videos, and his answer ran straight into the technology at the center of Forbes' MH370 investigation. Within a day Forbes had two reaction videos up, one of them titled "Did Steven Greer Just Validate the MH370 Videos?" The internet did the rest. "Greer says MH370 was a wormhole" became a headline, then a hundred reposts, then a settled fact.

Here's what Greer actually said. And here's why the real version, hedges and all, carries more weight than the headline.

1 What Greer Said, Word for Word

The clip comes from an interview run by the producer of Greer's 2023 documentary The Lost Century: And How to Reclaim It. The interviewer sets the question up plainly: "is this real, and is this the kind of man-made technology that would be used in a false flag attack and blamed on extraterrestrials." Two questions, stacked. Greer answers the second one first, and he doesn't flinch on it.

"The second question is yes, because that capability, I think it's an Einstein Rosen bridge is what they're doing. And we have a scientist on our team who's worked at very senior NSA and corporate level who has said it is real and it was an Einstein Rosen bridge and it was man-made and it was a test."

Read that again, because the specificity is the point. He didn't say "aliens." He didn't reach for "I feel like it's real." He named a mechanism: an Einstein-Rosen bridge, a wormhole, the same spacetime-engineering physics the 4Orbs orb-physics guide works through as what a real version of these objects would demand. He hung three descriptors on it: real, man-made, a test. And he sourced it to someone on his own team with a senior NSA background.

Then comes the part the headlines dropped. On whether the footage itself is authentic, Greer pulled back. "I don't know if it is," he says, "but if it is, I've had people look at, say, oh yeah, we have that capability for sure." Later in the same interview he goes further: "I don't have that information, and I don't have anyone on my team who has direct access to it, the origins of that footage."

So Greer split apart two questions the internet promptly welded back together. Does the depicted technology exist, and does it match an Einstein-Rosen bridge? On that his source is flat: yes, real, man-made, a test. Is this specific leaked video a genuine recording of it? On that Greer is honest about the edge of what he knows. He'll vouch for the physics. He won't personally vouch for the chain of custody.

There's a wrinkle inside the clip, too. At one point Greer says "I have the provenance for it," and minutes later says he doesn't have the origins of the footage. Both are on the record, and they don't sit comfortably together. It's the kind of snag a careful reader should catch and a careless headline will bury. We're catching it.

2 The Source Nobody Can Name

Everything Greer claims about authenticity runs through one person he won't name: "a scientist on our team who's worked at very senior NSA and corporate level." That's the entire description. No name, no division, no dates. An anonymous insider, vouched for by proximity.

Forbes wants that name as badly as anyone, and in the reaction video he wonders aloud whether it could be Karl Nell, a retired Army colonel tied to the disclosure world, while ruling out the physicist Hal Puthoff. Reasonable guesses, but guesses. Greer named no one. All we have from him is the description: senior NSA and corporate level, on his team.

An anonymous source is a real limit, and pretending otherwise would be exactly the overclaim this site exists to avoid. It caps how much weight the strand can carry. It doesn't erase the strand. Which leads to the question that actually matters: what happens when you set Greer's account next to everything already on the table?

3 Three Appearances, One That Counted

First, untangle the record, because most of what circulates online is a mashup of three separate Greer appearances that don't say the same thing.

December 16, 2023: Greer joined an X Space where Forbes called in and asked him, live, to look at the thermal video. Greer talked in general terms about opening spacetime and moving objects through it. He never confirmed the MH370 footage. Forbes came away "100% convinced" Greer knew the underlying science, but that's Forbes reading a general conversation.

Then there's the Patrick Bet-David interview, the one most people mean when they say "Greer went on a podcast about MH370." He didn't. That interview covered free energy, zero-point systems, and disclosure strategy, plus a memorable anecdote about an NSA counterintelligence source. Forbes admits it himself in his watch-party stream: "Greer's not said anything about the MH370." The MH370 comment came later, in the Lost Century producer interview that surfaced in March 2025. One appearance out of three actually addressed the videos. The other two got absorbed into the legend.

That NSA anecdote deserves its own flag, precisely so nobody misfiles it as MH370 evidence. In the Bet-David interview Greer described "the National Security Agency guy, the right hand to General Odom," who laid out a disinformation method: "we call this a DDT operation, you set up a decoy, you distract people, and then you trash them" by seeding material of "questionable provenance" so the real information sinks with the fake. Lieutenant General William E. Odom ran the NSA from 1985 to 1988, so the chain of command checks out. But this is a different anonymous figure, on a different subject. He's a lesson in how disclosure gets poisoned, not a witness to MH370.

4 Adding It to the Pile

Start with what's already on the table, because Greer's account doesn't get judged in a vacuum. The 4Orbs case for the MH370 videos never rested on a disclosure figure's interview. It rests on the stereo-parallax geometry across the satellite and thermal clips, on the Corridor Crew VFX rebuttal that came apart under scrutiny, on the orb physics that works out the energy, containment, and propulsion a real version would demand, and on the Edward Lin leak provenance. That's the heavy stack. On its own weight, the authenticity of the videos is already a strong conclusion, not an open question.

Greer's account is one more strand laid on top of that stack. And it points the same way everything else points.

Here's why the convergence is worth more than a single anonymous quote looks like it should be. Forbes reached the Einstein-Rosen-bridge reading by working forward from the evidence: the geometry of the orbs, the terminal flash, the physics of what could pull a 200-ton aircraft off every tracking system at once. "I don't have a whistleblower," he says, "I have the evidence." Greer reached the same reading from the opposite end, working backward from a source inside the classified world. Two people, two unrelated methods, no shared starting data, one mechanism. Forbes puts it plainly: "our paths crossed, we're talking about the exact same technology, we've come to the same conclusions." When independent paths land on the same answer, that convergence is itself evidence. It's the thing a coincidence has to explain away.

This is the kind of corroboration that counts precisely because the two lanes almost never touch. Forensic reconstruction and human-source intelligence are opposite disciplines. One works from pixels, timestamps, and physics; the other from who knows whom and who's willing to talk. They fail in different ways, they get fooled by different tricks, and they rarely check each other's homework. So when they converge on the same specific, falsifiable mechanism anyway, an analyst doesn't shrug it off. That's the fingerprint of a real thing leaving marks in two independent records at once.

Give the skeptical reading a fair hearing, because it earns one. Maybe Greer is just echoing Forbes, picking up the wormhole framing from the same online swirl and playing it back. Possible. But that reading needs Greer's unnamed NSA-level source to be either invented or coincidentally aligned, and it needs a man who has spent decades guarding his credibility to stake it on a specific, falsifiable physical mechanism for no reason. That's a heavier pile of coincidences than the plain reading, which is that a disclosure insider with real intelligence-world contacts heard the same thing the physics already implies.

So weigh it straight. The source is anonymous, the man himself hedged on the footage's chain of custody, and his loudest amplifier overstated him. Those are real discounts, and they cap how far this one strand reaches. But a discounted strand still adds weight, and it adds it in the direction the cumulative evidence already leans. The videos didn't need Greer to be authentic. They're a little more likely to be authentic because of him.

5 The Scientist Who Won't Say His Name

The genuinely new thing here isn't a verdict. It's a convergence: an evidence-first investigator and a testimony-first insider, arriving from opposite directions at the same man-made Einstein-Rosen bridge. That's a signal worth sitting with, and it's the pattern this site keeps hitting across the MH370 case.

The open question was never whether the videos are real; the weight of the evidence already leans hard toward yes. The open question is a name. Who is the scientist with the senior NSA background telling Steven Greer this was real, man-made, and a test, and will he ever say it with his own mouth? That's the exact testimony a suppression apparatus is built to keep anonymous. Which is its own kind of answer.
